LITTLE TUNI!

'লিটিল টুনি' ডেইলী সান নিউজ পেপার এর জন্য প্রথম স্ট্রিপ কার্টুন! মেট্র পেজ এর এডিটর সাহেব এর তাড়া খেয়ে কাজ টা শুরু! As Always ক্যারেক্টার এর ক'ও ডেভেলপ করা হয়নি, আশা রাখি নেক্সট স্ট্রিপ এর আগে করে ফেলব!

Feeling like killing my self! শুক্রবার বন্ধের দিন অফিস থেকে ইমারজেন্সি ডাকলো! ফ্রন্ট এ কার্টুন যাবে! হাতে সময় ১ ঘন্টা! প্রচন্ড চাপের মাথায় কাজ তুল্লাম!রাত ১০:৪৫ বাজে এখন এডিটর সাহেব বল্লেন কার্টুন যাবে না, নিউজ পালটেছে! নিজের মাথার চুল নিজে কামড়াতে ইচ্ছা করছে! মন্দের ভাল যে কার্টুন না আমার অত মন মত হ্য় নাই পাবলিস হলে হয়ত খুতখুতানি থাকত। আর শেষ ভরসা এই ব্লগ ত আছেই! নাই কাজ ত খই ভাজ! দেখুনঃ

DAILY SUN- HERE I GO!

My first published Cartoon for the DAILY SUN news paper (and also the first one in it's history ;-P)

though the cartoon is very simple, but while doing it i have learned something. and that is every day cartooning for a Daily is not an easy job and totally different then working for monthly or weekly magazines!
at list you get some breathing space for those. and when it comes to Daily News paper...well... let's look at it this way, you don't get any news before 7:30 .
after you get a news which is worthy of cartooning then you have to thought of the idea and if possible several of them.
then you have to confirm any of those idea's from your editor by making some rough sketches to make him understand. And all that i must have to do within 8:30.
Only then I'll get 1 and half our till 10:oo pm to Draw , color and for totally fine tuning the cartoon!
Last but not the list funny part is after doing all that the CARTOON might not get published just because some big fat advertise might have taken you space! :-P

Tried the hatch brush and used some solid black for the first time. in know the use is not proper yet. please feel free to give any tips on using solid black and white. and also about hatching.

গত এক বছরের করা খ্যাপের কারিক্যাচার বা খ্যাপক্যাচার গুলো তুলে দিলুম! BIRTHDAY, ANNIVERSARY, MARRIAGE GIFT, FAREWELL , REVENGE! and complementary commissioned pieces! ইয়ু নেম ইট! সব করেছি! :-D

Rahat n toma's first baby girl! it was a gift for the little one's birthday card and backdrop layout.



















1st one is polash. he did the nicest caricature of mine i ever had. So this was more like returning
a favour! ;-P
Next is> one and only sujoy ahmed. bassist from my all time favorite Band subconscious.

this was a Commissioned piece for a birthday surprise. As the caricatured 'victim' works in front of camera and also has passion for photography the theme was more like vice versa.

These 2 caricatures which need NO introduction (only of course if they are recognizable from my caricature :-P) MZI and shaikh siraz. As i remember these were voluntary work for the 3rd or 2nd International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh.
















I had a lot of fun caricaturing these 2 love birds. It was a wedding gift for RJ Nusrat from Radio Foorty.

ইরান থেকে পালিয়ে!

গত বছর ইরান গিয়েছিলাম এক ভিজুওয়াল আর্ট ফেস্টিভল এ বাংলাদেশের কার্টুনিং সেক্টরের ঢোল বাজাতে!! সেই ঢোল বাজাতে গিয়ে শেষ মেষ ঘোল খেয়ে ফিরতে হল ঢাকায়! পুরান সব ছবি ঘাটতে ঘাটতে সে সময়ের কিছু ছবি ও ক্যারিকাচার খুজে পেলাম! বাস! আর কি লাগে হয়ে গেল আমার ব্লগের আরেকটি ছোক-ছোকে পোস্ট!

এই ভদ্দর মহিলা ছিলেন আমাদের শো এর ভিডিও গ্রাফার। আগের কাজ গুলো এখন দেখলে বুঝি যে আমি কি অবলীলায়
না বুঝে কাজ করে যাই!
মাসল-ম্যান এভিস হারলিকাজ! ইয়ং স্কাপচারিস্ট ফ্রম আলবানিয়া। নিজেই যেন একটা জলজ্যান্ত স্কাল্পচার! তাহার গায়ের গঠন দেখে প্রথমে ক্যারিকাচার করার সাহস জাগে নি। পরে এই পর্বতসম মানুষ টার শিশুতুল্য (বয়স মাত্র ২০!) মনের সাথে পরিচিত হয়ে দুঃসাহসটা করে ফেললাম!















এক ইরানি ক্যারিকাচারিস্ট দোস্ত এর খোমাক্যাচার করার ব্যার্থ চেষ্টা! পাশে WORKSHOP এ ক্যারিকাচারিস্ট দলের সাথে পোজ দিচ্ছি আমি!
















সাউদি প্রিন্সেস sh dasti যার বোরকায় ছিল ঝলমলে পাথর বসানো এবং ভ্রমন নাকি করেন প্রাইভেট জেট এ !

বেশ ভাব গম্ভীর মানুষ,কিন্তু কি জানি কি ভেবেনিজেই বল্লেন তার একটি ক্যারিকাচার চাই।
শুধু বলাটাই ছিল দেরি...


































ইরানি দের চেহারার ক্যারিকা-আচার করতে গিয়ে দেখলাম
তাদের চেহারার বৈশিষ্ট গুলো আতোটাই জোড়ালো আর সূচালো যে
এক দিক থেকে বাঙ্গালি দের গোল-গাল চেহারার
তুলনায় তাদের চেহারার কার্টুন করা ছিল খুব সহজ!
আর বেশ ভাল চর্চার সুযোগ ও হয়েছিল বটে!

থিতু মিতু!

এই বাংলার নারী কারটুনিস্ট নাসরিন সুলতানা মিতু ওরফে থিতু মিতু... তাকে নিয়ে একটু experimental দাগা দাগি... তার গোমরা চেহারা টা হাসি হাসি করে আকা এবারের চ্যালেনঞ্জ!!
